For the holy month of Ramadhan this year, Lexis Suites Penang, would be presenting a delicious array of more than 100 dishes Iftar offerings under its “Bazaar Ramadhan, Authentic Malay and Arabic Cuisines” theme. The promotion would be held from 6 May 2019 until 4 June 2019, from 7.00pm until 11.00pm, at a reasonable price of RM98nett per adult and RM68nett per child/senior citizen. Early bird discounts are also available this year as shown below. In line with the hotel’s effort in contributing back to the community as they would donate RM2 per Ramadhan voucher sold to selected orphanages. Diners can also opt to go for early bird vouchers at a bargain price of RM60nett per adult and RM48nett per child/senior citizen from now until 5 May 2019 using the QR code at the bottom and key in the promo code of LSPRAMADHAN1.

The management has also decided to throw in another surprise during the Ramadhan period. From 6 May 2019 until 4 June 2019, you can also scan the QR code as below with the promo code LSPRAMADHAN2 to entitle to a bargain price of RM80nett per adult and RM58nett per child/senior citizen. The vouchers can be utilized throughout the month of Ramadhan from 6th May to 4th June. On top of that, on the first 2 days of Hari Raya Aidilfitri (5-6 June 2019), guests can dine in a sumptuous buffet lunch from 12.00pm until 3.00pm which will be priced reasonably at RM80nett per adult, RM50nett per child/senior citizen. For in-house guests, they will be entitled with the rate of RM80nett per adult and RM58nett per child/senior citizen during the Ramadan Buffet Dinner, while for the Hari Raya Buffet Lunch, they will be entitled for the rate of RM68nett per adult and RM50nett per child/senior citizen.

To start off your breaking fast, there’s an array of delicious appetizers available such as ulaman dan herba kampung, aneka kerabu, rojak mambo, pasembur or must-have Malay bites like serunding, pulut, ketupat and lemang. There are also assorted kampung pickles, Japanese maki, sashimi, edamame and Indian chicken tandoori, capati with dhall curry to get the variety flavors of taste buds going. This year, the hotel also provided the DIY style of their “Kampung Melayu Bubur Lambuk” with many condiments for you to top-up the broth.

One of the main highlights for the promotion would be the Arabian cuisine corner, specially crafted by the hotel’s Arabian Chef for you to experience the flavors from Middle East. Arabic delights such as sharwarma wrapped with bread, hummus, tabbouleh, mutabbal, lamb kabsa, chicken mandi among others would be available during the buffet dinner. Do also indulge in a piping hot bowl of ‘Gearbox’ Soup to boost up your energy deficit for the day. You could also look out for their other succulent treats like satay, nasi impit as well as the classical kambing golek sprinkled with assorted herbs, all prepared with the chef’s homemade spices and sauces that produce distinct unique tastes.

Signature main dishes include gulai ayam lemak, Lexis style daging rendang, udang rempah cili jagung, ikan tenggiri assam pedas, ketam cili/tomato, paru-paru kicap hitam manis, nasi tomato and many more, all specially crafted for diners to indulge on.

The dessert section is abundant with the availability of local sweets such as biskut almond London, biskut badam coklat, biskut dam aji, ondeh-ondeh, kuih lapis, kuih talam, putu piring, putu mayam, carrot cake with cheese frosting, assorted fresh cut local fruits, chocolate fountain, ice kacang, cendol durian and more to soothe your sweet tooth craving. Of course, you could also enjoy street snacks like goreng pisang, karipap, cekodok pisang, keropok lekor, papadam and good old children snacks such as twisties, mamee and tam-tam.

Note: The hotel has a surau facility at Level 3 for Muslim guests to perform their prayers.
